JWT asked Lumiere to design, direct and produce a refreshed animation sequence for their new Listerine commercial, ‘Zero’.

Lumiere utilised NextLimit’s suite of programs, Realflow and Maxwell, to help bring it to life.

RightGuard Beaver Falls

SignalTV came back to Lumiere to create some new RightGuard idents to feature during E4′s new comedy Beaver Falls.

These idents followed on the design from the previous E4 idents, but with new action relating to the program.

The Gadget Show

Five asked Lumiere to create an ident for The Gadget Show. We worked with the creatives at FIVE to come up with a concept for how the Gadget show presenters could interact with something in the studio. Idea’s revolved around touch screens, holograms, robots etc until eventually deciding on a virtual 8bit contorting shape that react to gestures. The FIVE crew went off and filmed the presenters, and returned to us an edit containing the presenters footage and hand gestures on a green screen. Lumiere then set about recreating a set as a backdrop and then animating the 8bit gadget. We comped it all back together, adding a handheld feel to the gesture shots and this is the result.

Rexona

When Munky required some in-game footage of Steffi Graff playing tennis for a Rexona commercial, they turned to Lumiere to make it happen.

As there was no real game to reference or use, Lumiere had to create the Avatar of Steffi from scratch. This involved taking photographs of steffi taken on set, modelling her face and body based on these and then creating a full texture map to bring the 3D model alive.

This Steffi avatar was then animated to match movements from the shoot, and rendered out in a computer game style, on a game style backdrop.

We created enough footage that it could then be selectively edited in the various commercial revisions.

LOVEFiLM

Lumiere were asked to pitch on this ident for LOVEFiLM. We won the pitch, and this is the result!

The initial brief asked to show LOVEFiLM in the style of a movie studio. We took themes from Twentieth Century Fox and Paramount (amongst others) and came up with a little journey which incorporated the various messages we were asked to convey.

Max Factor Eve

Lumiere teamed up with Leo Burnett once again to create another short end frame ident for their MaxFactor campaign.
This round involved creating a flowing, graceful flutter of butterflies.

Max Factor Mascara

This time around we tackled the complicated world of Mascara. It was a learning experience for the boys in the office, and it’s fair to say things haven’t been the same way since.

Max Factor LipGloss

Leo Burnett approached Lumiere to create an end frame ident for their MaxFactor campaign.
We are proud to present Liquid colour lipgloss.

The brief was to reveal MaxFactor’s iconic X logo in a way that texturally represented their lipgloss products.
The solution involved utilising fluid dynamics (NextLimit’s Realflow in this case) to create the final resolve.
