The Hotel

Arkadas Hotel

The Arkadas Hotel was opened in 1989 by the Arslan family, who have lived in the area for generations. Tahir Arslan runs the place and has created an environment which combines traditional Turkish hospitality with modern and efficient service.

The hotel has 22 rooms, all with air conditioning and balconies. Two pairs of rooms have interconnecting doors and are perfect for families with younger children.

The hotel restaurant has recently been rebuilt to offer a more modern and convenient environment for enjoying the splendid lunches and dinners offered by the hotel's excellent chef. The food is excellent and is a mixture of traditional Turkish and European. Barbecued fish is particularly good and most evenings you can start your meal with ‘meze’ - those tasty little vegetable starters that are just so Turkish.

These are the newer rooms, seen from the other side of the swimming pool. All the rooms have en-suite facilities and are comfortable and private. Cleaning is done every.

There is a separate bar and outside seating area where you can enjoy views of the gardens and the mountains whilst sipping a cold drink or having a snack or just chilling out.

The hotel’s boat, the Dilara (named after Tahir’s niece) will take you on magical
trips around the coast to such fabulous places as Phaselis, Olympos or Water
Island. Occasionally, Tahir arranges an evening beach party on one of the beaches
along the coast— this is a wonderful night out and it is beyond words to describe
the enchantment of an open fire on a moonlit beach and a gentle swim in the
soft, dark water.
